Random Images

Some random images from London.  No particular reason for posting!
The Rock, University College Hospital, London (January 2006). Why a hospital should spend thousands on this "work of art" rather than patient care is beyond me.

Childhood memories

As you grow up in Gibraltar one of the chidhood experiences is walking up the Rock and eating the "Vinagrera" stalks as a refereshment. Tell you what, their citric taste does refresh!

Tangier, Morocco.

Whereas, Marrakesh has impressed, Tangiers never does.  Perhaps because it is too close to Europe and does not have a real identity of its own.

Sunset in Marrakesh

These are photographs taken in 1989. As I plough my way through my slide collection to digitise them I’ll be posting some on the blog.  I really have fond memories of Marrakesh, so much so that I may go back this year to do a photo essay.

The most enlightened legislative move any country could make

Few would have believed this day would come to Spain. With an absolute ban on smoking in all public places, most pubs and restaurants are also following suit. Let's hope it lasts!

Spanish sales season kicks off....

It’s the day after the epiphany so it also marks the first day of sales in Spain….. much to my disappointment I was instructed to attend. Needless to say I did not enjoy it! Only another two months of sales left!
Help, I'm a prisoner here, I am being held against my will, get me out....

Live to ride and ride to live

A clear blue sky.  Temperature between 15C and 17C.  Leathers that are too tight after eating too much over the festive season….. what better excuse than to pick up the Harley and head out to the open road.

My pride and joy, a 2003 anniversary edition Harley Davidson Fat Boy.

Marbella to Fuengirola, the long way round.

Pick a nice day like today to potter around back roads.
This must be the wierdest house anyone started building. I can recall this house looking in this state for the last fifteen years. It does not look better with time.

Punta Paloma Beach - New Year's Day 2006

There’s nothing better to cure a new year’s eve excess than a walk on a beach.  Some photos taken earlier today of Punta Paloma Beach near Tarifa, Spain.
