Levanter storm

Common for this time of the year, a strong Easterly wind brought with it some strong waves. This caused some damage for coastlines in nearby Spain. The worst was Saturday night/Sunday morning with little left by Monday.

At least the seagulls enjoy the bad weather.

A good snow storm over the last few days meant that the annual caravan to see the snow was mandatory! One of the lowest altitudes in recent times for snow and only 20 minutes away from the coast. Does not happen that often so when it does, a sight to see.

Even the trees got a good sprinkling of snow.

Although it was unseasonally cold (1C), the sun made it feel quite warm.

Ice on the off-road paths led to many usual routes being closed for safety.

Unusual for hail to remain on the ground. This was the scene this morning in my garden.
